From dream job titles, to asking Santa for a yoga swing and a Ferrari at age four, and repeated cries to eat clean and get more sleep in 2018—these are the oh-so profound holiday thoughts and musings heard on the 8th floor of the T.W. Patterson Building. The crew at Top Hand Media and IMAGO, two companies who occupy the top floor of the historic Fulton Street office building, are knee deep in work on most days, changing the landscape of marketing, and education and career prep in their respective companies.
But occasionally, these forward-thinking experts take a break from their laptops and workshops to have a good time, and be completely candid to reveal what it is like working in the heart of downtown Fresno. Much like the estimated 45% of Americans making New Year’s resolutions for 2018, this downtown crew’s professional, personal and company goals may inspire you, make you think, and make you laugh. Their answers may also have you asking yourself:
Q: WHAT DID YOU ASK FOR FROM SANTA?
“Could you get rid of the bags under my eyes? No really, if Santa had the power to do more than material, I would want him to help us as humans figure out how to get along better as human race.” – Edgar Blunt, IMAGO
“A yoga swing.” – Kara Sidorowicz, IMAGO
“At four years old, I asked him for a Ferrari.” – Josh Pirtle, IMAGO
“Fun fact, I was never even put on Santa’s lap as a kid.” – Michelle Wong, IMAGO
