Team Fresmo is kicking off its Movember fundraising efforts by partnering with Tioga Sequoia Brewing Company for a launch party Arthop from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, During the Nov. 1.
During the event, Tioga Sequoia is releasing an official Fresmo beer — Fresmo Hop Fuzz — a Brut IPA best described as a “champagne beer.” For each tap beer purchased, $2 will be donated to the Movember Foundation.
Movember is an annual event in November which involves growing mustaches to raise awareness for men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men’s suicide. The Movember Foundation is a leading charity for the cause.

“Last year, we gained a lot of momentum, and this year we really want to grow our team to foster a community that sparks a conversation about men’s health,” said Mike Bowman, Team Fresmo Outreach Coordinator.
Team Fresmo is trying to raise $10,000 during the month of November. Donations will be accepted during the launch party. Mustache signs, t-shirts, beer glasses, buttons, and stickers will also be available for purchase, with proceeds going to the Movember Foundation.
Also during the event, attendees can expect live art, DIY mustache paintings, custom mustache art auction, music, and food. Plus, throughout the month of November, Team Fresmo will be raffling off prizes from the LA Galaxy, San Francisco 49ers, Fresno Grizzlies, and more.
