The Power of Testimonial

It is in every business’s best interest to provide its clients or customers with the best possible experience and service. At THM, It’s in our DNA. From start to finish we want our clients to be happy, feel valued, and feel like our team delivered nothing short of excellence. When all is said and done, sometimes taking one final step makes all the difference to the next potential client/customer who is deciding whether or not to sign the dotted line… a client testimonial.

In today’s world, the word of another holds an incredible amount of weight which is why review websites like Yelp were created. How was the experience, what can I expect, and is this a place I want to give my hard-earned dollar? These are all questions that can surely be answered by a precious client/customer. But when your business starts to receive glowing testimonials that you want to share with the world, where do you start?

Here are some ways your testimonials can be put to work:

  1. Showcase your Success
Don’t be bashful, a well earned review is worth gold in any industry and should absolutely be shared! You can use client testimonials from Yelp, Facebook, Google, etc. and craft social media posts or even use on printed materials. Bonus tip: schedule these posts around your clients campaigns to symbiotically benefit both parties. Don’t forget, by adding these reviews to your website potential customers can get a feel for the types of projects you’re able to accomplish.
  2. The Sales Tool that Sells Itself
Not only can testimonials be used for content throughout the year; they can also be used to create Case Studies. Elaborate on your wins and use the testimonial as a sales tool that will market your company on its own. Check out some of our Case Studies (link here) as an example!
  3. They Humanize Your Brand
Vetting a company before reaching out is a standard practice these days. Think about it: if someone were to research your business, what would they see? We know that social media adds a dimension of humanization, but testimonials can provide a human interest angle that enables customers to relate to, connect with, and better understand the products and services before them. If you are unsure how to make your brand emanate your mission statement we are here to work with you through the entire process.
  4. They Increase Conversation
According to BigCommerce, customers who interact with a review are 58% more likely to convert. It goes to show that the more positive testimonials you receive from your customers, the more likely it is you’ll convert more.
  5. They Show Problem Solving
Although 5 star reviews are like a warm hug after a job well done, not every review may be perfect. However, you can showcase your communication skills and show your future customers how you respond to criticism which may earn you their business over a flawless testimonial. This is something that is commonly overlooked by business owners today. A non-response is 100% worse than trying to fix or apologize for a mistake made. We promise that if you own up to your mistakes by addressing all of your reviews (the good, bad, and ugly) you will be rewarded for it.

After bringing a campaign to life for Sierra Kings Health Care District we reached out to them to see if they’d be willing to leave us a testimonial. Our team then created a graphic incorporating their branding colors and logo. We were able to share it on our social platforms while also promoting the ongoing campaign.

We created a 60 Year Anniversary logo for RV Country. To celebrate their anniversary we were able to create a graphic featuring not only a testimonial from their team, but promoted their anniversary and new logo.
