American Pistachio Growers (APG) is a non-profit trade association representing over 830 grower members in California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas. APG is governed by a democratically elected board of directors who are growers and is funded entirely by growers and independent processors with the shared goal of increasing global awareness of nutritious, American-grown pistachios.
The Ask
24 delegates from a Chinese International Purchasing company were to arrive in Fresno, California to learn and understand the value of Pistachio health benefits.
APG called us with only three days’ notice, asking if we could send a videographer and photographer to cover this all-day event. The event would start in Madera County and end in Coalinga, visiting two other Pistachio Farms along the way.
Results
We spent 11 hours documenting the day’s events, taking more than 300 high-quality photos and 7 hours of video footage. The result, you can see for yourself. Here are a few of our favorite photos and a recap video highlighting Farm to Table by a grower/restaurant owner.
